Bobby and Rashi’s love story: Kunal Kohli on working with Vardhan Puri and Kaveri Kapoor said – I have started thinking from their perspective on the sets

Filmmaker Kunal Kohli will soon launch Vardhan Puri and Kaveri Kapoor in Bollywood with his film ‘Bobby Aur Rashi Ki Love Story’. Let us tell you that Vardhan is the grandson of late actor Amrish Puri. Kaveri is the daughter of filmmaker Shekhar Kapur. If Kunal is to be believed, these new artists have forced him to change his perspective.

Audience will get to see a fresh love story
During a conversation with Dainik Bhaskar, Kunal says, “The story of this film is very interesting and believe me, the audience will get to see a fresh love story. Both Kaveri and Vardhan are newcomers and according to me it is the experience of working with any newcomers. They are very different, no matter how much work you have done before. There is a lot to learn from them.”

Vardhan and Kaveri both are very talented
Kunal Kohli further says, “To be honest, the work on the film is going on at the moment, that’s why I am not allowed to talk much on it. Yes, I can definitely say that both of them are very talented. When you are a senior or a senior on the set. Working with experienced actors, your expectations go up. You have a little idea how they will deliver their scenes, but this is not the case with new actors. You think of them as something else and on screen something else. It shines.

On set I started thinking from his point of view
He said, “During the shoot, I used to expect at times that these actors would just smile at some scene or thing, but the opposite would happen – they would start laughing out loud. Then you would think that they would laugh at this. But at that time he used to be silent. In such a situation, I started thinking from his point of view. More than directing on the sets, I had left the actors free, so that their skills could shine on the camera.” Let us tell you that with ‘Love Story of Bobby and Rashi’, Kunal will return to Bollywood as a director after almost 3 years. In 2018, he directed the film ‘Phir Se’.
