After complaining to the college administration, the first-year student and his family members were called to the college's governing body meeting on Wednesday to resolve the matter. According to the information received, the first year student went to the meeting called by the college authorities. She alleged harassment in college campuses, locking of doors and confiscation of mobile phones and thrashing everyone on the streets after they left the college. The relatives of the first year student have lodged a written complaint at the Kasba police station. On the basis of the complaint, the police has started investigation. On the other hand, after this complaint, the student and his parents were also called in the Governing Body meeting. Some students had reached the meeting. Later a tense situation arose during which the GB president was present.
Dissatisfaction with the role of Trinamool MLA in the college
The Vice Principal retorted that the college does not have a suitable environment for studies. I am facing many problems while working. Unilateral decisions are taken by the President of the Governing Body. If this situation continues, I will resign myself. On this day, other professors and employees expressed anger in front of the media regarding the role of GB committee in the college. The police claim that the complaint is being investigated. The police is investigating the whole matter, although no major action has been taken in this matter so far.
