UPPSC RO/ARO Exam 2023 Cancelled: To maintain the purity and transparency of recruitment examinations, the state government has canceled the preliminary examination for the recruitment of Review Officer and Assistant Review Officer. The investigation of the entire matter has been handed over to STF. Keeping in mind the interests of the youth, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed to conduct the preliminary examination again in six months, and has also given instructions to take strict action against those involved in it.
The Chief Minister on Saturday reviewed the Review Officer and Assistant Review Officer Preliminary Examination-2023 organized by the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission on February 11. Complaints were received about some questions of the question paper allegedly going viral on social media in the examination. In this regard, the government had asked the general public to provide evidence of facts related to influencing the examination.
The Chief Minister directed the government to cancel the preliminary examination in both the sessions on the basis of the evidence received and the report provided by the Commission. Along with this, instructions have been given to conduct the examination again in the next six months. The Chief Minister has also directed that the investigation of this case should be handed over to STF to identify the persons involved in such criminal acts and take strict legal and punitive action against them. STF will complete its investigation as soon as possible and strict action will be taken against all the responsible persons involved in this.
Even on Friday, competitive students remained at the protest site at Patthar Church, demanding cancellation of RO/ARO examination. Students holding placards in their hands were demanding re-examination. Earlier, on February 24, the Yogi government had ordered to cancel the UP Police Constable Recruitment Examination. Due to paper leak, the administration had decided to cancel this recruitment examination of all four shifts held on 17th and 18th February. It was also told that the examination will be conducted within 6 months. Students who appeared in the exam are still waiting for the new exam dates, although the exam date has not been released officially yet.
