Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Dinesh Sharma said that the decision to open the universities and colleges will be taken in November. He said that online studies will continue in schools along with offline. Action will be taken against private hospitals that charge more than Corona patients. He alerted the people that right now Corona cases may increase rapidly. Therefore, care needs to be taken.
Dr. Sharma came for campaigning in Tundla Assembly by-election on Wednesday. Before going there, Kovid-19 held a review meeting with officials and public representatives in the circuit house. After the meeting, after speaking to reporters, he said that universities and colleges are to be opened. The departments concerned are ready about this. They have been told about the precautions to be taken. Will decide on opening college in November. He said that schools from class nine to 12th have been opened. Although only 15 percent of the children are present, but the good thing is that people are automatically following social distancing and are also doing sanitizing.
The Deputy Chief Minister said that if the private hospitals take more money than prescribed, action will be taken by the administration against it. For this, the District Magistrate will hold a meeting with the hospital operators, explain them, action will be taken if they do not agree. He said that constant meetings are being held with the officials of the committees. Everyone is also understanding the Corona period. Ramleela is running online in most of the places. The deputy CM directed the DM and hospital management for better treatment at SNMC. He said that Corona is not yet gone. All people have to put on masks. Also, other Kovid protocols have to be followed. Request to open market till late night
MLA Purushottam Khandelwal requested the Deputy Chief Minister to open tak bazaar late during the festival days. On this, he said that the District Magistrate will take a decision from his level in this matter.
Former military gave memorandum
In the case of the burning of Sangeeta, wife of retired army officer in the circuit house, the families submitted a memorandum to the deputy CM demanding justice. The Deputy CM asked MLA Ram Pratap Singh to hold talks with the District Magistrate in this matter.
Protests by lying outside the circuit house
Officials of the Kshatriya Mahasabha staged a protest outside the Circuit House protesting that they were not brought to justice after Furv Fauji’s wife was brought alive. Later ADM City and SP City reached there and removed them and took the memorandum. The memorandum sought to abolish the SC-ST Act imposed on the erstwhile army, sack the Tajganj SO and CO Sadar and provide protection to the former army’s family. Apart from this, compensation was also demanded for the minor children of the deceased and to get them admitted to a good school.
