Last year, as the number of children increased, 123 examination centers were built.
In the UP Board Examination 2022-23, 78938 candidates were registered in high school and intermediate in the district. Of these, 44988 candidates were registered in high school. There were 33950 children in Intermediate. Similarly, in the board examination-2021-22, 66512 candidates were registered in high school and intermediate. In this, 36677 children were registered in high school and 29865 children were registered in intermediate. There were 112 examination centers in the board exam 2021-22. Relative to this, 123 examination centers were created in the board examination-2022-23.
1414 children decreased in intermediate
In UP Board Exam-2023-24, 76036 children are registered in high school and intermediate. Of these, 44500 students are registered in high school and 32536 students are registered in intermediate. In comparison to last year, this time the number of candidates appearing in the board exam has decreased by 2902. In this, maximum 1414 candidates have decreased in Intermediate and 488 candidates have decreased in High School.
Provisional list of centers will be released after November 10
UP Board Exam-2023-24 is also scheduled to be conducted in February-March. For this, the process of determining the examination centers is being completed rapidly. Till October 10, the physical verification report of all the colleges has been uploaded on the website of the Secondary Education Council Prayagraj. It is being told that the first list of examination centers may be released after November 10. In comparison to last year, this time the number of candidates has decreased by about 29 hundred. In such a situation, the number of examination centers may decrease.
Due to this possibility, managers and principals of private colleges are trying to get their colleges included in the list of the Centre. In this regard, District School Inspector OP Tripathi said that the examination centers have not been decided yet. The centers will be decided by the board. The list of examination centers is expected to be released soon.
