An amount of five lakh rupees will be given to the teachers doing research in Patna University. The decision was taken in the meeting of Research Development Cell of PU on Tuesday. Presided over by Vice Chancellor Prof. By Girish Kumar Chowdhary. On receipt of the research proposal of the teachers, it will be evaluated by the experts. Whose final approval will be done by the Research Advisory Council. A maximum amount of five lakhs will be given by the university on each research proposal. Applications will be invited for this within a week. Along with this, the name of the professor was also discussed in the meeting to be included as an external expert in the Research Advisory Council. Along with this, research papers will be invited for publication in Patna University Journal.
Guidelines for submission of research papers were finalized in the meeting. The submitted research papers will be reviewed by the subject experts and only after their approval the research papers will be published in the journal. A proposal will be sent by the university to include this journal in the UGC Care List. For this, the Advisory and Editorial Board is being reconstituted.
