In fact, the Anti Ragging Committee of the Medical College of Kanpur has made a new arrangement to stop ragging or rather it has made up its mind to give birth to a new tradition. In this one senior student will adopt 25 junior students. This initiative has been started at Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi Medical College, Kanpur.

In the new session of MBBS in the Medical College, students have started taking admission. Due to this, the anti-ragging cell of the medical college has become active. In view of the admission in the new session, an anti-ragging meeting was held in the Medical College. It has been decided to implement the system of mentorship.

Senior students will have to do this work

In the new arrangement made by the committee, every junior doctor will adopt 254 students of the afternoon batch. Along with this, it will be his responsibility that the new students do not face any problem in any way. He will also guide them in studies and writing. If there is any problem like ragging, he will inform the college management. If the mentor does not inform and an incident of ragging takes place, then the senior student will be responsible for it.

While holding a meeting with the Anti Ragging Committee, the Principal of the Medical College, Dr. Sanjay told that all the arrangements have been made in full swing. It was decided in the meeting that the department will make all the 4 students of Adarsh ​​Senior Para aware about not ragging and will also inform them about the punishment given for ragging.
