Pro. For the first time, PhD will be conducted in Rajendra Singh (Rajju Bhaiya) State University campus and five affiliated colleges. This time there will be admissions for 534 seats in 24 subjects. The university administration has released the list of research centers and research supervisors. Three research centers including the university campus have been created in Prayagraj, while one research center each has been created in Pratapgarh, Kaushambi and Fatehpur. According to the list released by the university administration, Prayagraj includes State University Campus, Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna PG College, Naini and Kulbhaskar Ashram PG College. Whereas Swami Karpatri Ji Maharaj Government PG College of Pratapgarh, Dr BR Ambedkar PG College of Fatehpur, Bhavans Mehta Mahavidyalaya Bharwari of Kaushambi have been made research centres.
368 JRF will do PhD
The state university had conducted the entrance examination for PhD on May 2 for 534 seats in 24 subjects. 1887 candidates appeared in the examination, out of which a total of 828 candidates were successful in the interview and 1196 candidates including 368 JRF appeared in the interview. Interviews have been conducted for admission to PhD in respect of 24 subjects. This time 368 JRF candidates will take admission in PhD.
PhD in 11 subjects only on campus
There will be PhD on 534 seats in 24 subjects. In this, research work will be done only on campus in 11 subjects. This includes Hindi literature, Sanskrit, ancient history, philosophy, geography, sociology, social work, commerce, economics, political science, defense studies. At the same time, in Kulbhaskar Ashram PG College, research will be done in the subjects of agricultural economics, horticulture, agricultural extension, soil science and plant breeding. In Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna PG College, Naini, research will be done in the subjects of English, Medieval History, Animals, Plants, Chemical Physics. There will be admission in English in Swami Karpatri Ji Maharaj Government PG College of Pratapgarh and research in Zoology in Dr. BR Ambedkar PG College of Fatehpur.
