Haryana Government has extended the last date for submission of online application form for the year 2022-23 under Dr. Ambedkar Meritorious Students Revised Scheme from January 31 to February 10. Under the scheme, applications can be made online on the portal till February 10 to provide scholarship to students belonging to Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes, Denotified Castes, Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Castes and Tapriwas Castes.
Giving this information, District Deputy Commissioner Ajay Kumar said that under Dr. Ambedkar Meritorious Student Revised Scheme, 70 percent marks in urban areas and 70 percent marks in rural areas for students belonging to Scheduled Castes, Denotified Castes, Nomads, Semi-Nomadic Castes and Tapariwas castes. It is mandatory to obtain 60 percent marks in the field. An annual scholarship of Rs 8,000 will be given to students studying in class 11th and the first year of all diploma/certificate courses. Similarly, it is mandatory for students who have passed class 12th to obtain 75 percent marks in urban area and 70 percent marks in rural area. Rs 8,000 per annum for Arts students in the first year of graduation, Rs 8,000 per annum for commerce/science and all diploma/certificate courses students, Rs 9,000 per annum for engineering and other technical/professional students and Rs 9,000 per annum for medical students And an amount of Rs 10,000 will be given as annual scholarship to the students of allied courses.
