NEET UG, NEET PG Seats and Medical Colleges in India: The Central Government has recently informed the Parliament that MBBS seats have increased by about 50000 to 101043 in the last 9 years. The government informed that out of total MBBS seats, 52778 seats are in government medical colleges and 48265 seats are in private medical colleges. This also gives a clear message that the number of medical colleges in the country has also increased considerably as compared to earlier. Be it private medical college or government medical college.
