NEET PG Counseling: Choice filling begins, register from mcc.nic.in

The National Eligibility Entrance Test-Postgraduate (NEET-PG) Counseling 2022 choice filling process has started from today. The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) is going to allow students to fill their courses and college options through its portal from today, 20 September 2022. Candidates who have registered for MCC NEET PG Counseling will have to login by visiting the official website mcc.nic.in portal to fill their options. Candidates will have to sign in with the information like their ID, Password.

Candidates will have the option to fill their choices till September 25 at 11.55 pm. At the same time, candidates will have time from 3 pm to 11.55 pm to lock the choice. NEET PG counseling has started and is scheduled to end on 23rd September at 12 noon. NEET PG counseling will be conducted in multiple rounds and candidates will be allotted seats based on the choices filled by them and the availability of seats. Candidates will have to fill their course and college choices during the choice filling.

First round seat allotment will be held on September 28

It is informed that the choices filled by the candidates are subject to change. But if they lock it, they will not have the option to make changes. The seat allotment for the first round of NEET PG counseling will be released on 28 September 2022 and the candidates who will be allotted seats under the first round. They have to go for further joining and reporting from 29th September to 4th October 2022. MCC is conducting NEET PG counseling for 50% seats under All India Quota and 100% seats in Deemed/Central University/AFMS and PG DNB.

Guidelines for NEET PG 2022 Counseling

  • Candidates will have the option to choose 30 to 40 options.
  • Seat allotment will be done on the basis of choices filled by the candidates. Hence the choice filling should be in the order of preference
  • Candidates must ensure that all the information filled during NEET PG counseling registration is correct and factual.
  • If candidates do not lock their preference, it will be automatically locked and they will not be able to change it.
  • The new choice filling will be available in NEET PG counseling rounds 1 and 2 as well as in mop-up rounds of counselling.
