NEET Counseling 2021: The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC), which conducts the All India Quota NEET counseling, has asked undergraduate medical candidates to beware of fake agents and allotment letters issued by them.
MCC does not issue allotment letters to the candidates directly and if they are selected, they have to download the provisional allotment letter from MCC website mcc.nic.in.
The counseling committee said that any case of fraudulent website or agent should be immediately reported to the MCC and for such cases a First Information Report (FIR) should be filed on behalf of the candidates.
Let us tell you, “MCC does not allot seats on the basis of nomination. It is further reiterated that no letter is issued by the MCC of DGHS to the successful students. Candidates who have been allotted seats by MCC will have to download the provisional allotment letter from the MCC website and report at the allotted colleges for admission.
Hence, candidates are advised to beware of any fake letter issued by MCC regarding allotment of seats. Candidates should beware of fake agents and are advised to do all the application related activities on the website themselves instead of hiring agents for the same.
MCC allots seats to the candidates on the basis of their merit and the choices filled by them through a software. Letter only successful candidates can download from MCC website.
MCC said that candidates should not share their counseling password with anyone. Mcc.nic.in is the only website for NEET AIQ counseling and candidates must beware of fake websites. MCC has not yet started the NEET 2021 counseling process. The official notification and information bulletin will be available on the official website when released.
