The result of NEET exam conducted for admission in top medical colleges of the country is about to be released. Candidate NEET UG 2022 The result will be available on the official website- neet.nta.nic.in. However, even after the result, there may be delay in admission to the medical college. The matter of admission in private medical colleges is stuck. The final guideline regarding fees in private medical colleges is being awaited.

An announcement was made by the central government regarding the medical fees. According to the guidelines of the National Medical Commission, 50 percent seats in private medical colleges will be fixed at the same rate as government medical colleges. Apart from private universities, this decision will also be applicable to deemed universities.

Delay in Medical College Admission

The new guideline of NMC will be in relation to fixation of medical fees. The matter of fixing the fees of NEET is pending. In such a situation, it may take more time to complete the admission process. At the same time, in the next session, the medical fees in every state will be decided by the Fixation Committee. Earlier, an office memorandum was issued on 03 February 2022 to reduce fees in private medical colleges.

After NEET, one can enroll in private colleges like St. John's Medical College Bangalore, Christian Medical College, (CMC) Ludhiana, Army College of Medical Sciences (ACMS) New Delhi and Dayanand Medical College and Hospital, (DMCH) Ludhiana. The National Medical Commission had issued an order recently, under which the state government will have to charge fees for 50 percent state quota seats of MBBS in private medical colleges, universities.
