Mukhyamantri Scholarship LAKSHYA: 3 candidates got Rs 5 lakh for passing UPSC Prelims

Mukhyamantri Scholarship 2023: Chief Minister Manik Saha has given financial assistance of Rs 5 lakh each to three candidates who passed the preliminary examination of the Union Public Service Commission. The Chief Minister gave this amount to the UPSC candidates in Agartala today.

While tweeting, the Chief Minister said that three candidates from Tripura have passed the Civil Services Examination conducted by UPSC this year. Each candidate was given a scholarship of Rs 5 lakh. Among the students who passed UPSC Prelims 2023, Joy Debnath of Santibazar, Jyotisma Chakma of Abhoynagar and Victor Debbarma of Krishnanagar were given scholarship amount under the Chief Minister Special Scholarship Scheme Lakshya (LAKSHYA).

Chief Minister Saha said that the state government will not compromise on the development of education in the state. The state government is taking all necessary measures to enhance the educational quality and continuously provide good education to the students. Teachers should also come forward to achieve this goal.

On Monday, Saha also inaugurated the exhibition on behalf of the Education Department to provide teaching material at low cost in all the districts. During the inauguration of the programme, the Chief Minister also discussed about the implementation of NIPUN program in the state.
