Mission Kushal Karmi Launched: The Kejriwal government has taken a big decision to give a better life to the workers in Delhi. Delhi Deputy Chief Minister and Labor Minister Manish Sisodia (Manish Sisodia) has launched this skilling program named Mission Kushal Karmi. On this occasion, Chairperson of the Education Standing Committee of Delhi Legislative Assembly and MLA from Kalkaji Atishi, Vice Chancellor of DSEU, Prof. Niharika Vohra and Secretary, Construction Board, Arun Kumar Jha were present. Manish Sisodia told that, under this program, workers will be able to get construction companies after training. At the same time, workers who work in a good, smart way, the work will be better, the productivity will increase.
Delhi Government has launched Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University under the ‘Mission Kushal Karmi’ program. (DSEU) And the Delhi Construction Board will give training to the construction workers by going to the construction site. Under this program, for the first time in the country, a university will go to the workers and train them.

Delhi Deputy CM and Labor Minister Manish Sisodia said that Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University along with Simplex, NREDCO and India Vision Foundation has been started to make construction workers, masons etc. skilled artisans. This program is very special where upskilling of workers will be done through a special training program of 15-15 days.
Under this program, 2 lakh workers will be given skill training in various fields in a year. He said that with this effort, along with upskilling, the income of the workers would also increase by up to Rs 8000. At the same time, by getting good, smart workers to the construction companies, their productivity will increase, the work will be better, the wastage will be less and there will also be a lot of savings.
What is Mission Skilled Personnel?
The objective of this program is to upskill more than 2 lakh registered construction workers in the construction sector in the next two years keeping in mind the demand of the industry. Construction workers will be given 120-hour (15 days) on-the-job training.
What will be the benefits to the workers?
Under this program, after the completion of training, every worker will get Rs 4200. After the compensation upskilling, the income of the workers will improve, after training it will increase from 3000 to 8000 rupees per month. According to a study by industry experts, there will be a 40% increase in the productivity of workers after undergoing this training. Also, there will be a 25% increase in quality and up to 50% less material wastage during construction.
