At the 51st annual convocation ceremony of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi, Prime Minister Modi on Saturday encouraged the students to innovate by wishing them all the best for the future. He said that this crisis of Corona has brought big changes in the world. After Corona, the world is going to be very different and technology will play a big role in it. Corona taught us a lot. It also taught that globalization is necessary, but with it self-reliance is also necessary. The self-reliance campaign is about new opportunities for our youth so that they can open up their inventions to everyone. In the present times, youth can bring changes in the lives of crores of citizens through innovation. Today, understanding your needs in the country, future requirements, decisions are being taken one after the other, old rules are being changed.
Change rules for work from home facility:
PM Modi said that such provisions which prevented the tech industry from facilities like Work from Home or Work from Anywhere, have also been removed. This will make the IT sector of the country more competitive and will give more opportunities to young skills like you.
He said that today India is committed to giving its youth ease of doing business so that the youth can change the lives of crores of citizens with their innovation. The country will give you the ease of doing business, just work on the ease of life of the countrymen. What the country is trying for the poor is possible only through your efforts.
The Prime Minister told the students that when you leave from here, work in a new place, you should also work on a new mantra. Always take care on quality, never compromise. Ensure trust and win trust in the market for a long time.
He said that continuous efforts are being made to make the life of ordinary citizen easier. Under the ownership plan, land mapping of villages in India is being done for the first time. Mapping is being done through drone technology and the villagers are satisfied with this. This shows that even ordinary citizens have full faith in technology. There are immense possibilities and immense challenges for you all over the country but you can also solve them. He appealed to the students to recognize the needs of the country and make new innovations accordingly.
