Guest teachers will get honorarium of Rs 50 thousand per month: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan

Guest Teachers Salary Hike: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has said that guest teachers and lecturers working in all government colleges will be given monthly salary instead of working day and it will be up to Rs 50 thousand. Guest teachers of technical education will participate in it. Guest teachers will get the same leave facilities as government servants.

Chauhan made these announcements while addressing the panchayat of guest teachers and lecturers here on Monday. He said that the state government has taken these important decisions to end the uncertainty in the lives of guest teachers and lecturers. He said that during an academic session, guest teachers will also be given the facility of transfer to their nearby college, wherever they wish, instead of their college. Guest teachers and lecturers from ITIs, Polytechnics and Engineering Colleges will also be eligible.

Help to the families of martyrs in the protection of wild animals
Shivraj Singh has said that the ex-gratia amount given to the families of forest department employees who were martyred in the protection of forests and wildlife will be increased from Rs 10 lakh to Rs 25 lakh.
