This announcement has been made by Home Minister Amit Shah. Shah has given this information during the foundation stone laying of the new campus of Gujarat Technological University (GTU) in Gandhinagar. Along with this, the Home Minister also told that what is the purpose of the government behind getting MBBS in Hindi. obviously that NEET Counseling 2022 Students who get admission through this will also get this option.
Talking about the National Education Policy 2020, Amit Shah said that from October 16 this year, MBBS education will be conducted in Hindi at Atal Bihari Vajpayee University in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh.
Why study MBBS in Hindi?
What is the reason behind studying MBBS in Hindi? The Union Home Minister said that the National Education Policy (NEP) has promoted the mother tongue. It has been explained that when a student can think in his mother tongue, he can understand and do better research in that language.
Shah said that 'some people may find this strange. But I want to reiterate that when students can think, speak and read in their mother tongue, they can also do better research in it. That thing does not come in the thing learned by rote. This is the reason that the first semester of MBBS in Atal Bihari Vajpayee University will be completely in Hindi.
NEP is not just a book, it is a complete library: Shah
Counting the benefits of the National Education Policy, Shah said that 'NEP is not just a book, but a complete library. In this, priority has been given to Indian languages, arts and cultures. At the same time, Modi ji has taken an initiative to improve the lifestyle of people with the help of technology.
Shah was on a two-day visit to Gujarat. During this, he also laid the foundation stone of 750 bedded Adarsh Multispecialty Hospital in Kalol. CM Bhupendra Patel said that earlier the youth of Gujarat had to go to other states by paying hefty fees for engineering and medical studies. But PM Narendra Modi changed the situation and now 102 universities are running in the state.
