UPSC Success story: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) examination creates new success stories every year. It is not easy to pass this examination, but there are some promising candidates who keep trying continuously and achieve success in this examination.

One of the many success stories is that of Haryana cadre IPS officer Ayush Yadav. Who has passed UPSC exam twice. Let us know about them.

IPS officer Ayush Yadav is a resident of Narnaul, Haryana and belongs to a middle class family.
Ayush’s father died when he was just 8 years old. His father used to work in BSNL. After his father’s death, his mother continued to work at his post.

Ayush Yadav was always good in studies. After finishing school he decided to pursue an engineering degree. After which he took admission in National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra, Haryana and obtained an engineering degree in Electronics Communication from here. From the beginning, Ayush Yadav was clear about his goal. He wanted to become a civil servant. Therefore, he started preparing for the Civil Services Examination after completing his graduation from college.

In the year 2019, he cleared the State Service Examination (SSC) of Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) in his very first attempt. He was posted in the Excise and Taxation Department of Haryana. However, he wanted to become an IPS officer from the beginning. He was happy with his job, but not completely satisfied. After working for some time, he started preparing for UPSC CSE.

It was difficult to prepare for UPSC along with a job, but he knew that there were many challenges to be faced to achieve the destination. With his hard work and proper planning, Ayush had passed the UPSC CSE exam in the year 2020 in the very first attempt. He secured All India 550th rank. After which he got the post of DANICS officer. This post is related to the administration of Union Territories of India.

Ayush Yadav was happy to succeed in the UPSC exam, but his dream was to become an IPS officer. To fulfill his dream, he decided to appear for UPSC exam again. His hard work paid off and he secured the post of IPS officer with 430 rank in UPSC CSE 2022. Let us tell you, he is currently working in Haryana cadre.
