Manish Sisodia behind the transformation of Delhi government schools: Kejriwal

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said on Saturday that Delhi’s government schools were transformed in the last eight years because of Manish Sisodia, who used to wake up every morning at 6 a.m. and go out for his inspection. Kejriwal made this remark while laying the foundation stone of the new building block of the Government Sarvodaya Girls/Bal Vidyalaya in East Vinod Nagar. He said the school would look like Columbia University when it was completed. Speaking about the former Deputy Chief Minister and former Education Minister, Kejriwal said, “They (Centre) put Manish Sisodia in jail by accusing him of corruption. He is the same leader who used to get up at six every morning to go to the schools. The Chief Minister said that corrupt leaders do not visit schools at six in the morning for inspection. Kejriwal said, “Students of Delhi government schools are excelling in the field of education. They are also clearing competitive exams and becoming doctors, engineers and police officers.” The Chief Minister said, “There is one person behind this change in the education sector and that is Manish Sisodia.”
