The college known as DDU has issued a notice. It said that 30 thousand rupees are being withheld from the net salary of assistant professors and 50 thousand rupees from the salary of associate professors and professors.

The DDU College notice, signed by the Acting Principal, said, "All permanent teaching staff are hereby informed that due to paucity of funds, 30 thousand rupees from the salary of Assistant Professors and from the net salary of Associate Professors / Professors with effect from July 2022 50 thousand rupees are being withheld. When funds are available, then these funds will be released. DDU is a Constituent College affiliated to Delhi University. This college was established by the Delhi government in 1990 and this college gets 100 percent funding from the Delhi government.

The Aam Aadmi Party government in Delhi has campaigned loudly across the country that it has improved the standard of education in the national capital. The Delhi government says that the infrastructure of Delhi's schools has been improved and they are now giving competition to private schools.
