According to media reports, this year around 12 lakh students took part in the CUET UG exam. In this, the maximum number of students had chosen Delhi University as an alternative to the university. Around 6.63 lakh students have expressed their desire to get admission in DU. At the same time, 4.43 lakh students have selected BHU. In this episode, 2.62 lakh students have filled the form for admission in Allahabad University. But the recruitment of faculty is yet to be done in these institutions.
Faculty Vacancy in DU, BHU
In July, a notification was issued by the Ministry of Education about the vacant posts in the universities of the country. According to the released notification, more than 6500 faculty seats are vacant. According to the data released by the Ministry of Education, there are 900 teacher seats vacant in Delhi University. At the same time, there are 532 vacancies in Banaras Hindu University ie BHU. Apart from this, 622 seats are vacant in Allahabad University. Vacant seats in JNU and Jamia too

At the same time, there is a shortage of 223 teachers in Jamia Millia Islamia.
