DU Admission Portal will be launched on 12th September! Know when the new academic session will start

The new academic session for the first year graduate students of Delhi University is likely to begin around October 20. A senior official gave this information. the officer said that DU This week is planning to open its admission portal on Monday (September 12). “We are expecting the CUET-UG result between September 10 and September 15,” the official said. We want to launch our portal a few days before that. There is a possibility that we can do this on Friday also.

The official further said, 'We need time to complete the admission this time as there are combinations of many subjects. We are planning to start a new session by October 20. This is the first time that entrance tests are being conducted in Delhi University for admission to undergraduate courses. Every year during the admission in DU, sky-high cutoffs were seen. In fact, the University Grants Commission (UGC) had announced in March that for admission to all central universities, students would have to appear for the CUET entrance exam.

Admission will be done in these three phases

In this academic year, the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) portal is going to be an important part for admission in DU affiliated colleges. The admission process will be in three phases. Once the portal is launched, the students will have to register through the CSAS-2022 application form available on the common portal and make a lump sum (non-refundable) payment at this stage of the application. The second phase will begin after the declaration of the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) results.

Once preferences are selected, they cannot be changed. Under the third phase, seats will be allotted, which will be done in several rounds. Once the merit list is released, candidates will have to check the allotted seat and college on the common admission portal.
