CSIR NET 2021 Exam Date: There is good news for the students who are waiting for CSIR UGC NET 2021 Exam Date. The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) National Eligibility Test (NET) Exam will be conducted in January 2022. CSIR itself has confirmed this with its Twitter handle. The exam (CSIR NET Exam 2022) will be held on 29 January 2022. NTA will soon release the detailed notification on the official website csirnet.nta.nic.in.

The Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) conducts UGC NET for all subjects of Science stream including Science, Live Science, Physics, Chemistry. CSIR NET 2022 will have two more rounds. The exam date has been announced from the official Twitter handle of CSIR. The tweet read, “Update: CSIR-NET-UGC to be held on 29/1/2022. Who can apply?
Candidates who want to apply for CSIR-UGC NET 2021 exam must have MSc or equivalent degree/ Integrated BS-MS/ BS-4 year/ BE/ B.Tech/ B.Pharma/ with at least 55% marks (Gen and OBC) Must have MBBS. Whereas SC, ST or Divyang (PWD) candidates should have passed with at least 50% percentile. The maximum age limit for JRF (NET) is up to 28 years while for Lectureship (NET) there is no upper age limit.

Exam Pattern (CSIR UGC NET Exam pattern)
The exam will be conducted in two shifts. The first shift will be conducted from 9 am to 12 noon and the second shift will be conducted from 2 pm to 5 pm. The question paper will be in both Hindi and English languages. This exam consists of Multiple Choice Type Questions (MCQs), 200 marks have been earmarked for the candidates in this exam. Total time allotted for the exam is three hours. A total of 120 questions are asked in this exam. The exam consists of three parts Part-A, Part-B and Part-C. There are 20 questions in Part-A, 40 in Part-B and 60 in Part-C. One third (25%) marks will be deducted as negative marking for each wrong answer in this examination.
