CBSE Board 2024: 12th Geography exam pattern will be like this, check

CBSE Board Exam 2024: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is going to conduct the final examinations of class 12th from February 15. The examinations are likely to end by April 10. Ahead of the board exams, CBSE has released sample papers and marking schemes for both class 10th and class 12th. Students can download it from cbseacademic.nic.in.

Students who are going to appear for the Geography subject exam, should know about the marking scheme of this subject here.

– Questions of 70 marks will be asked for CBSE Class 12th Geography Theory paper. Students will be given three hours to write answers.

– This question paper will be asked in five sections. Which will be divided into sections A, B, C, D and E.

– Section A or question numbers 1 to 17 are multiple choice questions carrying 1 mark each.

– Questions 18 and 19 in Section B will be source based questions. Each question is of 3 marks

– Section C or question numbers 20 to 23 contain short answer type questions carrying 3 marks each. Answer these questions in 80 to 100 words.

– Question numbers 24 to 28 in Section D – contain long answer type questions carrying 5 marks each. Answers to these questions have to be written in 120 to 150 words.

– Section E or question number 29 and 30 are map based questions.

Know- When will the datesheet of 10th-12th be released?

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) may soon release the datesheet for class 10th and 12th board exams 2024. According to media reports, the datasheet may be released by the end of this month. Although CBSE has not officially announced the date and time of the exam.
