About 1200 B.Tech seats remain vacant in government engineering colleges affiliated to AKTU. Even after four rounds of counseling for B.Tech, these seats could not be filled. About 1200 B.Tech seats remain vacant in the government engineering colleges of Kannauj, Pratapgarh, Basti, Azamgarh, Mirzapur, Mainpuri, Bijnor, Gonda, Sonbhadra, Ambedkar Nagar and Banda associated with Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University. Even after the completion of the four-phase counseling process, seats in these government colleges have not been filled yet. Whereas separate registrations were done for 1740 vacant seats of government engineering colleges. Despite this the seats could not be filled.

According to the information, in these government engineering colleges, most of the seats in core branches like civil, mechanical, electrical are left vacant. Whereas 599 seats of Institute of Engineering Technology Lucknow, 487 seats of KNIT Sultanpur and 423 seats of BIET Jhansi have been filled.

2877 seats allotted for BPharma in AKTU

Through the counseling of AKTU, 2877 seats have been allotted in the third phase of counseling for admission to BPharma course. Whereas it has been decided to allot the remaining seats during the final phase of counselling. During the counseling process, all 124 seats in the Pharmacy Department located at AKTU have been allotted.

Hostel allotted to B.Tech, MCA students

Lucknow University has allotted hostels to the first semester candidates of MCA, B.Tech, BPharma, MPEd and M.Lib on Tuesday. Whose list has been released on the official website of the university. Chief Custodian Prof. Anup Kumar Singh said that selected candidates can deposit their fees online till October 15.
