BSC Textile course will start in universities, UGC sent syllabus, chances to get job abroad

BSC Textiles course will be started in all universities including BRA Bihar University. For this, UGC has released the syllabus and sent it to the universities. UGC has directed to start B.Sc Textiles course from the new session. This course will be of three years. Apart from BSC, Textiles will also be taught in PG. It will be studied under vocational course.

DSW of BRABU Prof. Abhay Kumar Singh said that before starting the course of BSC Textiles, it will be kept in all the bodies of the university. After passing them, the proposal will be sent to the Raj Bhavan and the government. After passing from there it will be implemented in the university.

Fund will be available from UGC for practical:

UGC has said that it will give funds to universities for practical education in B.Sc and M.Sc Textiles. Practical items will be purchased from this fund. UGC has said in the instructions sent to the university that the studies of B.Sc and M.Sc Nursing are being started under the National Textiles Mission. After doing this course, many employment opportunities will be available to the students. UGC has directed to start this course in affiliated colleges along with constituent colleges.

Students will be trained during the course:

During the course, the students will also be provided training in textiles. This training will be done in cloth making factories. UGC has said that this training is necessary for the students because only after this they will have practical knowledge about textiles.

Syllabus has been prepared according to foreign universities:

The syllabus of B.Sc and M.Sc Textiles starting in universities and colleges has been prepared on the lines of foreign universities. Its syllabus is according to the studies in Tokyo, Kyoto, Singapore, Texas University. The UGC has said that the study of textiles will be done according to the studies being done at the global level, so that students can get job opportunities in foreign countries as well.

Students will learn 3D textiles:

In BSC Textiles, students will be told about 3D textiles. Apart from this, e-textiles, automotive textiles, technology management will be told in the syllabus. Arrangements for technical fibres, technical yarn, technical fabrics will be made in the colleges to start the education of textiles.
