Priyaranjan Singh, a resident of Gaya, Bihar, is a medical student at Baranagar Disability Hospital. In the words of one of his friends, “On Monday at around 11:40 pm, one of his roommates called Priyanjan, but he did not pick up. Roommate's call came till around 12 o'clock. After this he knocked on the door of the hostel room. No one opened despite repeated knocking. After this, when he looked through the window, it was dark in the room. The flashlight of the phone lit up and saw that something was hanging. After that everyone broke the door and Priyaranjan was taken out at 12:00. There was still life left in him, but we didn't even have oxygen here. Can such situations happen in the hospital? There is no ambulance service either. The students complained that the institute had neither emergency facilities nor minimum services. That's why he died while taking Sagar Dutt to the hospital.
