Admission to Allahabad University (University of Allahabad) and its constituent colleges will be done through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). This test will be conducted by the National Testing Agency ie NTA. The application process for CUET 2023 is over. On this, five marks will be given for the correct answer in the entrance test, while there will be minus marking for the wrong answer and one mark will be deducted. Under CUET, questions will be asked from three sections in the undergraduate entrance test. The first section will be of language, in which each language will have 50-50 questions. Out of these 40 have to be answered. 45 minutes have been fixed for this. The second section will be of optional subject. In this, questions will be asked from the subjects. 40 out of 50 questions have to be answered in 45 minutes.
The third section in CUET will be of General Knowledge. In this, 50 out of 60 questions related to General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Mental Ability, Numerical Ability and Quantitative Reasoning will have to be answered in 60 minutes. Whereas last time in the third section i.e. General Test, 60 out of 75 questions had to be answered. This time ten questions have been reduced.
Information about the city of the examination center will be issued on April 30. The exam date will be announced on 21st May. Admit card will be issued in the last week of May. The entrance test will be conducted in online mode in 34 cities from June 1 to June 7.
Admission in eight courses of IPS and Skill Training Center
Eight courses of IVIV IPS and Skill Training Center (CVSSD) have been linked to CUET. Admission to 468 seats in these courses will be done through CUET only. BA Fashion Design & Technology has 58 seats, Vivoc Media Production has 50 seats and BA Media Studies has 58 seats. There are 100 seats in BCA, 50 in BCA-MCA Data Science, 40 in BVoc Software Development, 50 in Five Year Food Technology and 62 in BVoc Food Processing.
