In Delhi’s Najafgarh area, two masked miscreants barged into a sweet shop and opened fire and fled from the spot. There is no report of any casualty in the firing so far. The firing took place at Mittal Sweet Shop located at Najafgarh Chawla bus stand at around 6 pm on Sunday. The CCTV camera installed in the shop clearly showed that many customers were standing at the shop during the evening. Suddenly two masked men came and started firing.
According to the information, both the miscreants together fired 4 rounds directly at the shopkeeper. After this incident, there was panic among the customers present in the sweet shop. The miscreants fled on seeing the opportunity. It is not yet known what caused the miscreants to fire. People of the police department are present on the spot and a team is being formed to search for the accused. The police is currently denying that the miscreants came to the shop with the intention of killing someone, but with the motive of intimidation and fled after firing.
On the other hand, the police say that soon the accused will be caught and strict action will be taken. A senior Delhi Police official said, “We are probing the incident as his face was covered. Therefore, they are being identified by checking the CCTV footage. Also, about 5 teams have been deployed in search of the miscreants. At the same time, the interrogation of the shopkeeper is also going on and investigation is being done on all aspects.
