Delhi will be decorated with 4 and a half tons of flowers on Republic Day, special preparations of NDMC

Special Correspondent, New Delhi : On the occasion of Republic Day, NDMC will make special decorations with flowers on all the streets around India Gate, Rajpath, Vijay Chowk, Parliament House, Rashtrapati Bhavan. Other prominent places in New Delhi will also be specially decorated. For this, massive work was going on for the last two-three days. By Tuesday night, this decoration will be done at all places and on Wednesday people will be able to go to different areas to see the workmanship of NDMC gardeners.

According to information received from sources, on the occasion of Republic Day, NDMC will decorate the entire New Delhi area with flowers. Yellow, red, orange, pink, white, purple, purple, blue and brown flowers and green leaves of varying sizes will be used for this. About four and a half tons of indigenous and foreign flowers will be used in the entire decoration. Mainly flowers like marigold, rose, baboon, daisy, rose mary, chrysanthemum, hibiscus, evergreen will be used.

Flower boards have been made on different themes Sources said that different themed flower boards have been made from these flowers, which will be put up at various roundabouts and along major roads. The figures of National Flag, Red Fort, India Gate, Parliament House, flying birds etc. will be engraved on them. Apart from flower boards, flower fountains will also be made from flower girls on roundabouts. Apart from this, many types of plants, ornamental shrubs and different types of figures made from natural things will also be planted.
