Tech Mahindra CEO: Now he got the command of Tech Mahindra, has handled the work of President in Infosys

Tech Mahindra, a company providing information technology services, has appointed Mohit Joshi as its new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer. The company informed about this on Saturday. Mohit Joshi has been the President of the country’s second largest IT company Infosys.

Term will start in December

Tech Mahindra told the stock markets that Mohit Joshi will appointed for the year. They are also going to get important managerial roles under the Companies Act 2013. According to Tech Mahindra, Joshi’s term will start from 20 December 2023 and he is being appointed till 19 December 2028.

Succeeds CP Gurnani

Tech Mahindra has Told that Joshi will replace the current MD and CEO of the company CP Gurnani, who is going to retire from his post on December 19 this year. Gurnani is one of the longest serving CEOs in the Indian IT industry.

Mohit is leaving Infosys

Mohit Joshi is currently the designated Managing Director Will join the company. He will remain in this post till 19 December 2023. According to the company’s statement, Joshi is leaving Infosys to join Tech Mahindra. He is playing the role of President in Infosys. In Infosys, he has the responsibility of Global Financial Services and Healthcare and Software business. Apart from this, he is also handling sales operations and transformation.

Mohit has such experience

Tech Mahindra said in the statement, Mohit Joshi is leaving Infosys and joining Tech Mahindra, where he is currently the President. He has over 02 decades of experience in the Enterprise Technology Software and Consulting space. He has worked with some of the world’s largest corporations, building great businesses and driving digital transformation.

Previously held these positions

Mohit Aviva plc Has been a non-executive director till 2020. He has also been a member of Aviva’s Risk, Corporate Governance and Nomination Committee. In 2014, he was associated with the Young Global Leaders Program of the World Economic Forum. He is also a member of Young Presidents Organization. Mohit has previously held the office of Vice Chair of the Economic Growth Board of the Confederation of British Industry.
