Today i.e. on 14 November 2023, National Stock Exchange and Bombay Stock Exchange are closed due to Diwali Balipratipada. It has been told on the website of BSE that today there will be no trending in Equity Derivative Segment, Equity Segment and SLB Segment. Along with this, there will be no trading in interest rate derivatives and currency derivatives segments today.
MCX also closed for half a day
If we talk about the futures market i.e. Multi Commodity Exchange, it is also closed for half a day today. After this, business will start from 5 pm in the evening. Let us tell you that Diwali Balipratipada is celebrated two days after Diwali. Due to this, there will be holiday in banks in many areas across the country.
Holiday on 27th November also
Apart from Diwali Balipratipada, the stock market will remain closed on November 27, 2023 due to Guru Nanak Jayanti. Apart from this, there will be a holiday in the stock market on 25th December next month on the occasion of Christmas. This year Christmas is falling on Monday. In such a situation, the stock market will remain closed for three consecutive days on Saturday, Sunday and Monday in December.

Let us tell you that due to Bali Pratipada (Diwali), Vikram Samvat New Year Day or Lakshmi Puja, banks will also remain closed in many states today i.e. on November 14, 2023. These include the names of Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka and Sikkim.
