Salary Hike: Government has given great news!  Salary of these employees will increase by 20% from next month

Government Hike Pay Scale: The government has decided to increase the pay scale of some employees by 20 percent from next month. After this increase, the salary of the employees will be higher than before. This decision has been taken by the state government. The demand of the employees of this state is 40 percent increase in the basic salary. 

Which state government took this decision 

State Energy Minister V Sunil Kumar said that the decision to increase the pay scale has been taken after detailed discussion with Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai. Karnataka government has decided to increase the pay scale by 20 percent. The increase in pay scales will help the employees of power supply companies and Karnataka Power Corporation Limited. 

Basic salary of government employees increased 

Before this decision, the state government had increased the basic salary of government employees by 17 percent. However, under the seventh pay, the employees had demanded an interim relief of 40 per cent increase in basic salary and revision of salary. There was also a demand to end the new scheme. 

Demand for restoration of old pension scheme 

There has also been a demand for the restoration of the old pension scheme on behalf of the government employees. On this, the government has said that a committee headed by the Chief Secretary will study it. Let us tell you that many states have agreed to restore the old pension scheme. 

Dearness allowance expected to increase 

Central government employees are hopeful that the central government may increase the dearness relief and dearness allowance under the Seventh Pay Commission during the coming cabinet meeting. This increase can be of 4 percent. If this increase in DA happens, then the dearness allowance will increase to 42 percent.
