Rishi Sunak and His wife Akshata Murt Net Worth:  British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and his wife Akshata Murty have suffered a major setback this year. During the last one year, this couple has lost property worth about Rs 2072 crore. This loss has happened due to the fall in the shares of Infosys. Billions of assets have been lost due to Infosys’ stock fall. 

Narayan Murthy is the founder of Infosys and Akshata Murthy is his daughter and Sunak is his son-in-law. The billionaire couple’s most valuable asset has long been their shareholding in Infosys. Britain’s PM Sunak and his wife Murthy were ranked 222nd in The Sunday Times Rich List last year. 

In the last 12 months, the shares of Infosys have fallen by about 20 per cent. Due to this, his ranking has fallen to 227th number. Significantly, Sunak and Murthy had entered The Sunday Times Rich List last year. Their holding in Infosys at that time was 690 million GBP, but in a year the couple’s wealth has fallen to 529 million GBP. 

Rishi Sunak’s salary 

As the Prime Minister of Britain, Rishi Sunak receives an annual salary of about 165,000 pounds ($ 208,246). According to Rich List, his net worth was around 730 million pounds last year, which has come down to 529 million pounds in 2023.

At number 6 is Lakshmi N Mittal, the NRI tycoon of ArcelorMittal Steelworks. After this, industrialist Anil Agarwal of Vedanta Resources is at number 22. 11 NRIs are included in this list.
