It is being told that this scheme has accelerated the work of projects worth lakhs of crores in its 2 years.

The government has announced the completion of two years of the scheme. Report card has been issued on the occasion. According to the report card, more than 300 central and state projects have been evaluated under PM Gati Shakti Yojana during the last 2 years. Those projects together cost more than Rs 11.58 lakh crore. Under the scheme, work like evaluation has been done to get approvals faster and remove the obstacles in the projects.

Major shortfall in this time

By the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. In the prepared performance report card, it has been said that PM Gati Shakti Yojana has improved the level of ease of doing business and ease of living in the first 2 years. According to the ministry, earlier where it used to take 3-4 months to finalize the pre-alignment of an infrastructure project, now the work is being done in a month.

Under PM Gati Shakti Yojana. No Objection Certificate approvals for all projects have been made digital. With the creation of an integrated portal, the work of preparing the scheme has improved. Earlier these approvals were obtained manually, which took a lot of time.

Evaluation of these projects

According to the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the projects which were evaluated under PM Gati Shakti Yojana There are more than 200 state projects among them. These projects worth more than Rs 5000 crore are related to improving logistics infrastructure. 156 critical infrastructure gap projects are to ensure last mile connectivity.

The assessed central projects include 45 railway projects worth Rs 6.06 lakh crore, 4.19 These include 47 road projects worth Rs lakh crore, projects of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development worth Rs 79 thousand crore and projects of the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy worth more than Rs 20 thousand crore.
