Talking about today, there has been a tremendous increase in the prices of crude oil on Monday. The biggest reason for this is that more than a dozen oil producing countries including Saudi Arabia, Iran have decided to reduce their oil production from the month of May. A big jump has been registered in the prices of crude oil only after this decision.

How expensive crude oil has become-

Talking on Monday, the prices of WTI Crude Oil have registered a rise of 6.22 percent at this time and it is trading at $80.38 per barrel. At the same time, a big jump of 6.22 percent has been registered in the prices of Brent Crude Oil and it is trading at $ 84.86 per barrel. After this increase, the biggest question is whether there has been an increase in the price of petrol and diesel in India today.

The prices of petrol and diesel remain stable in the three main metropolitan cities of the country, Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata. Whereas in Chennai, petrol-diesel is being sold at Rs 102.63 and Rs 94.24 per liter after a fall of 10 paise and 9 paise respectively.

  • Delhi – Petrol Rs 96.72, Diesel Rs 89.62 per litre
  • Chennai – Petrol Rs 102.63, Diesel Rs 94.24  
  • Mumbai – Petrol Rs 106.31, Diesel 94.27 Rs per litre
  • Kolkata- Petrol Rs 106.03,  Diesel Rs 92.76 per litre

In which cities the price of petrol and diesel changed today-

In Noida, petrol is being sold at Rs 97.00 and Rs 90.14 per liter costlier by 36 paise and diesel by 32 paise. In Gurgaon, Haryana, petrol is being sold 12 paise costlier and diesel by 12 paise at Rs 96.89 and Rs 89.77 per litre. Petrol is being sold 33 paise cheaper and diesel 30 paise cheaper at Rs 108.58 and Rs 93.84 per liter in MP’s Gwalior. In Rajasthan’s Jaipur, petrol is being sold 36 paise cheaper and diesel 32 paise cheaper at Rs 108.31 and Rs 93.57 per litre. Petrol is being sold 15 paise cheaper and diesel 15 paise cheaper at Rs 96.47  and Rs 89.66 per liter in Lucknow, the capital of UP.
