Parliament Session: Mallikarjun Kharge made a big attack on the government regarding GST dues in Rajya Sabha, Finance Minister said – the allegations are beyond the truth.

Finance Minister Sitharaman termed these allegations of the opposition leader as beyond the truth. The Finance Minister said that we have paid the states their GST dues even by borrowing. The Finance Minister said that thrice the government has paid the GST dues of the states in advance. He clarified that no money is outstanding from the states. The Finance Minister said that he has complete data. 

A factually incorrect statement has been made by the Leader of the Opposition wherein he’s saying that GST revenue is not given to the States on time. This is absolutely wrong.

After this, Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankar asked both the Leader of Opposition and the Finance Minister to table the data in favor of their respective statements.
