PM JANMAN:Prime Minister Narendra Modi today launched the PM Tribal Tribal Justice Maha Abhiyan on the birth anniversary of Birsa Munda in Khunti district of Ranchi, Jharkhand. This is a scheme of Rs 24,000 crore which has been specially designed for the welfare of tribals. A historic scheme of Rs 24,000 crore for the welfare of the tribal community was launched today under which various programs will be run for the tribal caste of Jharkhand.

On the occasion of ‘Day’, the ‘Prime Minister’s Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups’ (PM PVTG) Mission was launched from Birsa College grounds in Khunti district of Jharkhand, under the ambit of which about 28 lakh PVTGs will be covered. According to the official statement of the government, under the mission, the PVTG areas will be provided basic amenities like road and telecom connectivity, power, safe houses, clean drinking water and sanitation, better access to education, health and nutrition and opportunities for sustainable living.
