MS Dhoni: SBI made veteran cricketer MS Dhoni the brand ambassador, will fulfill this responsibility

Before Diwali, State Bank of India has appointed Indian cricketer and former cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni as its brand ambassador. The largest public sector bank on Sunday announced the appointment of Mahendra Singh Dhoni as its ambassador. As the brand ambassador of SBI, MS Dhoni will play the role of marketing and advertising. 

SBI Chairman Dinesh Khara said that we are very happy to include MS Dhoni as the brand ambassador of SBI. He said that Dhoni’s association with SBI will give a new avatar to our brand. With this partnership, we aim to strengthen our commitment to serve the nation and our customers with trust, integrity and unwavering dedication. 

State Bank of India is the largest commercial bank in terms of assets, deposits, branches, customers and employees. It is also the largest lender in the country, which has so far fulfilled the home buying dreams of more than 30 lakh Indian families. The home loan portfolio of the bank is more than Rs 6.53 lakh crore. 

Deposit with bank 

By June 2023, the bank’s deposits are Rs 45.31 lakh crore and CASA ratio is 42.88 percent. SBI’s market share in home loan and auto loan is 33.4 percent and 19.5 percent respectively. SBI has the largest network of 22,405 branches and 65,627 ATMs or ADWMs in India with 78,370 BC outlets. The number of customers using Internet Banking and Mobile Banking is 117 million and 64 million respectively. 

Given so much digital loan 

In the matter of giving digital loans, the public sector banks of the country have approved Rs 5,428 crore through YONO. The number of followers on Facebook and Twitter is highest among all banks during the first quarter of FY 2024.
