Investors Wealth Loss: Stock market declined in 4 consecutive trading sessions, investors suffered a loss of Rs 12.50 lakh crore.

Investors Loss:The last four trading sessions have been very disappointing for the investors of the Indian stock market. Investors have suffered huge losses in these four sessions. Indian stock markets fell heavily on Monday, October 23, 2023, due to weak trends in the global markets due to increased tension in West Asia due to the Israel-Hamas war, and investors suffered a loss of Rs 7.60 lakh crore. But in the last four trading sessions, investors have suffered a loss of Rs 12.50 lakh crore. 

The downward trend in the market started from 18th October 2023. The market capitalization of BSE on October 17, 2023 was Rs 323.80 lakh crore. After the market fell in four trading sessions since October 18, BSE market capitalization has come down to Rs 311.30 lakh crore. That means, in the last four sessions, investors of the Indian stock market have suffered a loss of Rs 12.50 lakh crore. 

On October 17, the Sensex closed at 66,428 points. Since that day, the Sensex has fallen by 1960 points and closed at 64,572 points. The Nifty of the National Stock Exchange closed at 19810 points on October 17. But after this, Nifty has fallen by 530 points in four trading sessions.
