Petrol price has also gone up in the national capital, Delhi. 23 paise to Rs 84.20. This is the all-time high. Diesel price rose by 26 paise to Rs 74.38 per liter. Prices are similar in the commercial capital Mumbai. Petrol price rose by 23 paise to Rs 90.83 per liter. Diesel price rose by 29 paise to Rs 81.07 per liter.
On the other hand, crude oil prices have risen in the international market. Brent crude rose 0.74 percent to $ 54.70 a barrel. WTI crude rose 0.85 percent to $ 51.06 a barrel.
Generally, petrol and diesel prices fluctuate every day. Energy retailers have been adjusting petrol and diesel prices on the basis of crude oil prices in the international market. Against this background prices may rise one day. May fall another day. Or may continue to be stable.
