Gold and silver prices declined in other cities across the country. In the national capital, Delhi, gold prices fell by Rs 400. The price of 10 grams of 22 carat gold fell by Rs 400 to Rs 47,100. Also, the price of 10 grams of 24 carat gold fell to Rs 51,380 from Rs 51,810. Along with gold, silver prices also declined. The price of a kg of silver fell from Rs 62,500 to Rs 61,900.

Gold prices also declined in the Bangalore and Mumbai markets. In Chennai, however, gold prices declined marginally. In Chennai, the gold rate fell by just Rs 130 to Rs 48,460. Also, 10 gram gold of 24 carat gold fell by Rs 140 to Rs 52,860.
Analysts say the bearish momentum for gold is currently continuing. Internationally the ounce has been falling sharply since touching $ 2,050. US Treasury yields Gold is currently trading internationally at $ 1,837 an ounce.
