Data science education market will reach $1.4 billion by 2028, know which report made this claim

Data Science Education:The market for data science education in India is estimated to grow by 57.5 percent annually to $1.39 billion (about Rs 11,569 crore) by the year 2028. This possibility has been expressed in a report. Edtech platform Imarticus Learning and Hyderabad-based technology portal Analytics Insight have jointly conducted this study. This research was conducted in view of the increasing interest in data science education across India, which has shown that there is immense potential in the data science education market in the country.

The market for studying data science will grow rapidly

Accordingly, the business of teaching data science is currently worth $204.2 million (about Rs 1,698 crore) and is expected to grow by 57.5 percent annually for the next five years. According to the report, the market for on-campus study of data science will reach $857.5 million in the year 2027 with an annual growth of 56.73 percent. During this period, the online education market will reach $53.36 million with an annual growth of 58.82 percent.

Jobs related to data business will reach 3.3 lakh

It is estimated that jobs related to data business will increase by 57 percent to 3.3 lakh in the next five years. Their number is currently around 2.1 lakh. ‘Data Science Education Report-2023’ says that Amazon and AWS, Bain & Company, Deloitte, EY and Google will be ahead in recruiting data science experts.

Jobs related to data science will increase in healthcare, finance and retail sectors

According to the report, due to increasing demand for data science related skills in healthcare, finance and retail sectors, the global market for data science education could reach $378.7 billion by 2030. During this period, it is expected to increase annually by 16.43 percent. Nikhil Barshikar, Founder and CEO, Imarticus Learning said, "The report highlights the growing interest in data science education across India and predicts significant growth in the data science education industry."
