After this, the salary of cabin crew and other officers will also be increased.

The Tata group has decided to increase the salary of its employees because the airlines are already struggling with the shortage of pilots. In such a situation, the company wants to make such a strategy that it can meet the shortage of other staff including the pilot. Along with this, he could prevent his pilots and staff from joining other domestic or international airlines due to low salary. Giving information in this matter, an official of the company said that we have a challenge to meet the pilot shortage. Recently, Air India has ordered new aircraft on a large scale. In such a situation, apart from retaining the old pilots with the company, Air India also has a big challenge to recruit new pilots.
The company will recruit pilots and cabin crew on a large scale
In February 2023, Air India announced that it is going to recruit 4,200 cabin crew staff and 900 pilots in the next few years. This decision was taken after ordering 470 new aircraft. Let us tell you that at the beginning of the year, Air India has ordered a total of 470 aircraft to Boeing and Airbus. Significantly, this is the biggest order of the aviation industry so far. Along with this, Air India has kept an option to buy 370 more aircraft. It is to be noted that Vistara will not get the benefit of increase in salary of Air India employees.
