Reserve Bank of India had said in a statement that to maintain the cash flow in the market, the government has printed enough notes of Rs 500, so that people do not have to face cash related problems. At the same time, the use of digital payment has reduced the need for cash among the people. In such a situation, RBI says that there is no need to bring Rs 1000 notes.
