On Friday, the ED raided the locations of RJD chief Lalu Yadav and people associated with different teams of ED from Patna to Ranchi and from Delhi to Mumbai. Apart from this, raids were also conducted on Lalu Yadav’s son and Bihar’s Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav, MP’s daughter Misa Bharti, daughters Hema, Ragini and Chanda.
RJD has played an emotional card amid ED’s action. Party spokesperson Shakti Singh Yadav tweeted that after the session of the Bihar Legislative Assembly was over, Tejashwi Yadav went to Delhi to meet his pregnant wife on the occasion of Holi. CBI reached there too. Shakti Singh Yadav wrote that the sisters of Tejashwi Yadav, who are married. CBI raids at brother-in-law’s place too. RJD spokesperson said what is happening in the country? The central government is misusing the agencies so much. The fear of being thrown out of power in 2024 is haunting.
In another tweet, Shakti Singh targeted the BJP and said that why do you fight like a coward, come and fight in public or fight like an emergency. Why backstab? Four crores were caught at BJP leader’s place in Karnataka, said CBI-ED. Why are the agency and the BJP sitting with curd in their mouths in the Adani case?
Tejashwi Yadav will not be afraid
Shakti Singh Yadav further wrote that the CBI-ED raid against Tejashwi Yadav in 2017 in the mall case, then in the Land for Job case. In both the cases, the investigating agencies did not get anything, then a new farce of investigation has been created. Nothing is going to be achieved in such a situation. Officers have been getting extension on service extension. Shakti Singh Yadav said that whatever Lalu and Tejashwi Yadav do, they will not be afraid.
