Political ruckus in Bihar after Giriraj Singh’s statement, ‘Nitish’s prospects bright due to Rahul’s punishment’
  • God is almighty then why doesn’t he end the suffering of all the sad and sick people?

PatnaUnion Minister Giriraj Singh on Sunday alleged that Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s silence on Rahul Gandhi’s disqualification indicated that the Janata Dal (United) leader was relishing the prospect of claiming the leadership of the opposition camp. The BJP leader criticized Gandhi for his “my name is not Savarkar” remark and said it would take “many lives” for the Congress leader to become like Hindutva icon Savarkar.

Giriraj made a big attack

At the state headquarters of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Begusarai MP Singh was answering questions from journalists regarding the silence of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. However, top party leaders including JD(U) national president Rajeev Ranjan Singh alias Lalan have unequivocally condemned the disqualification. Singh said that he (Kumar) should be happy that his prospects are bright. After all, the ambition to compete for the top spot has become the defining characteristic of all (anti-BJP) parties. However, he objected to Gandhi’s statement that he would not apologize for the defamatory remarks, for which he was convicted by a Gujarat court.

Giriraj’s advice to Rahul Gandhi

Singh said that it would take several births for Rahul Gandhi to become like Savarkar. Singh alleged that the Congress leader was behaving like an ’emperor’ who had no respect for Prime Minister Modi. Former Congress president Gandhi had commented on Savarkar at a press conference on Saturday when asked about the BJP’s demand for an apology. Rahul Gandhi emphasized that he is not afraid and will not apologize as his name is ‘Savarkar nahi Gandhi hai’ and Gandhi does not apologise.’
