More than 30 people fell ill after eating banquet food in Chhapra, 4 in critical condition

Chhapra: More than 30 people became victims of food poisoning on Monday night in Kondh Kheri Tola under Panapur police station area of ​​Chapra, Bihar. It is said that on Monday night everyone had eaten rice, lentils and vegetables in a Katha Matkor program organized in the village. In the early morning of Tuesday, some people started complaining of stomachache, vomiting and diarrhea. Soon the number of victims started increasing. Seeing the increasing number of people suffering from food poisoning, there was uproar in the entire village. As soon as this information was received, the personnel of Primary Sub-Health Center Rampurrudra reached the village and started treating the people. Also informed the senior officers. On receiving the information, the medical team led by Dr. Kumar Gaurav, Medical Officer in-charge of PHC Panapur, reached the affected village and started treatment of the victims.

Seeing the seriousness of the situation, a team of medical personnel had to be called from the referral hospital Taraiya as well. At the same time, to deal with someone’s situation, half a dozen ambulances were also called from Panapur, Taraiya and Mashrak. Meanwhile, Sonali Kumari, daughter of Omprakash Singh, Satish Singh’s daughter Ritika Kumari, Rita Devi and Randhir Singh, seriously injured, were referred to Chhapra for better treatment.

Among the victims, 80-year-old wife Sushila Devi, Randhir Kumar, 13 years, Ranveer Kumar, 11 years, Heera Sah, 50 years, Saraswati Devi, Omprakash Sah, Vikas Kumar Singh, Vicky Kumar, Naveen Singh, Ankita Kumari, Subodh Singh, Amitesh Kumar, Ravish Kumar , Sujata Devi, Chandni Kumari, Pappu Kumar Pandit, Priyanka Kumari, Roopkanti Devi, Vinita Devi, Ramdayal Singh, Akash Kumar.
