Patna: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has broken the silence on the action of central investigative agencies on RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav family. On sending summons to Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav on behalf of CBI, Nitish Kumar spoke to journalists in Patna. He said what can he say now in this matter. CBI has sent summons, so they are already replying. CM Nitish Kumar said that this is not an issue. There were raids in 2017 as well. Now after 5 years action is being taken again. He said that everyone is watching what is happening ever since he joined the RJD.

Team reached from Chhattisgarh to study the experience of prohibition

Nitish Kumar kept his point even after the arrival of the team of MLAs from Chhattisgarh to study the experience of prohibition in Bihar. CM Nitish Kumar said that teams of officers have come earlier also for studies in Bihar. He said that when prohibition was implemented in Bihar, he was also invited in Chhattisgarh. CM Nitish Kumar said that a woman member was also included in the team of MLAs from Chhattisgarh, she was very happy to implement the decision of prohibition in Bihar.

1.82 crore people quit drinking in Bihar

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said that the survey was conducted in 2018 after the decision of prohibition was implemented. In which it was revealed that 1.64 crore people had stopped drinking alcohol. At the same time, it has been revealed in the recent survey that 1.82 crore people have stopped drinking alcohol. He said that it has been revealed in the survey that 99 percent women and about 93 percent men are in favor of prohibition. On the issue of liquor ban, Nitish Kumar said that some people always get messed up, 100 percent people can never be cured.
